Tim Thorn (aka–Paisley 360) is and has always been a connoisseur and an innovator of fashion. Growing up, he had great inspiration from his parents and grandparents who were leaders in their respective communities. Tim Thorn’s first taste of fashion happened when he appeared in his first fashion show at the age of seven. Since then, he has participated in numerous fashion shows and events as a model and spokesperson.
After high school, he entered college and studied in the field of Communication. He spent more than 12 years as a Communication Specialist for one of America’s largest school districts, teaching students the art of effective communication. Because of his passion for style, he decided to leave the field of education to devote his attention to styling others with the same flair and finesse he exemplifies with his own appearance. It did not stop there, he is currently a volunteer Style Consultant with Career Gear Houston–a non-profit organization that suits veterans, men in life transition and a high school component that teaches high school males the importance of making a good first impression. In conjunction with Career Gear of Houston, he serves as the fashion director for both Spring and Fall Fashion Shows which have been held at BMW, USA (Houston Location).
Having made a bold decision with the uncertainty of what the fashion/styling profession would produce, he has not missed a beat with the opportunities that have come his way. Tim launched his first Men’s clothing collection in October 2017 at the “Fresh Off The Rail Fashion Week. His collection generated such a buzz in the fashion world which in turn opened many doors for him to showcase his collection.
Tim has been fortunate to work and study with several local/national stylists and designers to gain more knowledge of the world of fashion and the business aspect. It is clear that he was born with a gift and eye for fashion and style whether simplistic or sophisticated. Tim Thorn is often quoted as saying. ( for those that need a little help)—he is available.
“Style–you either have it or you don’t”
Because of his great passion to help people succeed in the field of fashion, he has taught and groomed several models who are published and have walked for some of the world’s top designers. Jimmy Choo, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, James Hardin, just to name a few.
He can be seen working and instructing for fashion show casting calls and model workshops and seminars.
Keep your eyes and ears opened for this amazing fashion artist who is trying to enhance the third (largest city) fashion culture of Houston, TX to be one of the most fashion-forward cities in the nation.
